I have just completed my 12th. I wander whether post-graduation is all that essential to get a job opportunity; or can I have a graduate degree that could search me a job?

Education has marched much ahead, and the meaning of graduation has changed a lot. A graduate degree does not simply mean a honors or a pass course in any subject. There a numerous courses available for the undergraduates. Some of professional degrees in the graduation definitely carry some value in comparison to a regular B Sc or B Com or BA degree. Students need to start thinking out of the box and analyze their own interest and passion while selecting their career path.

The professional course like BE or MBBS or B Technology do carry some value at the graduation level. Though we need to accept the fact that the competition would always be there with the post-graduates and more educated aspirants at the job market, still the professional degrees make a better path than the regular courses.

There are options of non-conventional courses which are not taken up by many aspirants like nautical science, fishery or agricultural science etc. These courses are taken by less number of people and are less popular amongst students. Again the ratio of the number of passed out students and coming up employment opportunities remain the same, still these courses do a good option just with the graduation degree. There are also many vocational courses which can make a nice career just with a graduate degree. There are also diploma courses available for the graduates who can take up a post-graduate diploma instead of a proper post-graduate course.

Hence, it depends on the students and their interest on what and how do they want to progress on their career path.
