What is the importance of ‘Objective’ statement in my resume? Does this make any difference in my job hunt?

Objective statement in a resume gives a brief note of what the candidate can do for the organization and how can they justify the job profile. It gives the employer an idea regarding the rest of his resume. An objective statement is somehow considered an old style. It is considered important while making a huge career change. This objective helps the employer to understand as to how the candidate would transform with the different career.

Objective statement is better replaced by career summary. When we talk of writing CV precisely, it is always considered better to skip the objective and save some space for giving out your selling points through career summary.
