    - XHTML stands for EXtensible HyperText Markup Language

    - It is a used between HTML and XML and is specially designed for net device displays.

    - It is identical but stricter to HTML.

    - When applied to the net devices XHTML goes through the modularization process. This will help the XHTML pages to be read at many different platforms.

    - It is defined in HTML and written in XML.
