    - Acceptance testing is the form of alpha and beta testing.

    - In software engineering, acceptance testing is a test conducted to determine if the requirements of a specification are met.

    - It is a formal testing with respect to user needs, requirements and business processes.

    - Acceptance testing is also known as User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

    Alpha testing:
    Alpha testing is a form of internal acceptance testing performed by in-house the software QA and testing teams. This is the last testing done by the test teams at development site after the acceptance testing and before releasing the software for beta test.

    Beta testing:
    Beta testing is the final testing phase. This testing is followed by internal alpha test.
