Anti – infiltration duties are peace time duties and not war time. Other war time duties are maintenance of law and order in enemy territory under army’s control; assistance in control of refugees; performing special tasks connected with intelligence including raids; Aggression against enemy army is not allowed for BSF. Limited aggression against central police or irregular forces of enemy is allowed.
