Condensation polymerization is a process in which two or more chemically chemically different monomers are polymerized and forms cross-link or linear polymer along with a byproduct of water or ammonia.

When methyl alcohol (CH3OH) and acetic acid (CH3 COOH) condense they form ester and water is obtained as a byproduct.
