    - Critical temperature is defined as the temperature at which transformations in solid state take place.

    - At 210°C cementite changes from Ferromagnetic to Paramagnetic character. This temperature is indicated at the bottom portion of iron carbon equilibrium diagram. It is denoted by A0.

    - The temperature below 768°C is known as curie temperature. Below this temperature α-Ferrite becomes ferromagnetic.
