    - Thermoplasts: On application of heat and pressure these thermoplasts do not undergo chemical change.

    - Celluloid, Polyamide, Polyethylene, Teflon, etc different types of thermoplastics.

    - Polytetra-flouro-ethylene is also called as Teflon. Teflon has low coefficient of friction. They are tough at low temperatures and are resistant to chemical attack.

    - Teflon is the trade name for Polytetra-flouro-ethylene. These are generally used in gaskets, packings, sealing, electrical insulation, non-stick surfacing, etc.
