- Charvaka philosophy deals with the materialistic philosophy. It is also known as the Lokayata Philosophy - the philosophy of the masses.
- According to Charvaka there is no other world. Hence, death is the end of humans and pleasure the ultimate object in life. C
harvaka recognises no existence other than this material world. Since God, soul, and heaven, cannot be perceived, they are not recognised by Charvakas.
