    - There maybe chances of inaccuracy in NC machine tool due to repetitive use of the tape.

    - Therefore, part-programming mistakes are common in conventional NC machine tool.

    - Whereas in CNC machine tool, the part program tape and tape reader are used only once to enter the program in the minicomputer.

    - This gives the reliable results when compared to NC machine tools.
