    1. Venturimeter is a device which is used to measure the rate of flow of fluid flowing through the pipeline. It works on the principle that the velocity head increases in an accelerated flow by reducing cross sectional area of the flow passage. This is the Bernoulli's principle.
    2. Orifice-meter is also a similar device line venturimeter which measures the rate of fluid flow through the pipeline. It consists of flat circular plate having sharp edge hole named orifice placed in pipe. Just like venturimeter, it also works on the Bernoulli's principle.
    3. Pitot tube is a device which is used to measure velocity of the flowing fluid at required point in the stream or pipe. It also works on Bernoulli's principle as if the velocity of flow becomes zero at a point in the stream, pressure increases due to conversion of kinetic energy into pressure energy.
