Vibration testing deals with the shaking of product or package so as to find out its ability to survive in real world conditions. Hydraulic and electro-dynamic vibrations are the most commonly used types of vibration testing equipment.

Hydraulic vibration testing allows to design better-quality cost-effective products by precisely determining the sensitivity to sine or random variables .

Since they are adopted for larger loads & wide spectrum of testing applications, they undergo lower frequency testing which is nearly about 1 to 500 Hz.

In comparison to hydraulic vibration testing, electro-dynamic shakers facilitates higher range of frequencies (20-1000Hz ).

This is so because high frequency range assists in testing of electronic assemblies as well as in reproducing wide range of shock & SRS pulses including the general vibration testing.
