    - In closed loop system, the loop is closed by providing a feedback of the output through a measuring elements.

    - The temperature control system which maintains the temperature of a room at 30 °C when it is set is an example of closed loop system.

    - The temperature of the room is to be maintained at 30 °C and is not allowed to go up or down.

    - When it goes up or down immediately some action is taken either switching cooler on or switching heater on.

    - When temperature goes up 30 °C, then cooler is switched on so that the temperature comes down to 30 °C.

    - And when temperature goes down below 30 °C, then heater is switched on so that the temperature goes up to 30 °C.
