    - The blade loading coefficient (Ψ) for an axial flow compressor can be defined as the ratio of workdone to the square of peripheral velocity of blade.


    Ψ = Workdone / (Blade Velocity)2

    Ψ = W / (Cb)2

    - Blade loading coefficient is a dimensionless parameter. Usually the blade loading is assessed by the diffusion factor.
