  • One of the haats in news is the Dilli Haat. Dilli Haat is an open-air food plaza and craft bazaar located in Delhi, run by Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC). Unlike the traditional weekly market, the village Haat, Dilli Haat is permanent. It is located in the commercial centres of South Delhi, opposite INA market.
  • Border Haats have been established at Tripura state bordering Bangladesh. The concept of establishing “Border Haat” is to boost bilateral trade and enhance people to people contacts.
