    - Hot working process is the plastic deformation of metal which is carried out at temperature above the recrystallisation temperature.

    - Various types of hot working processes are as follows:

    1. Pipe welding
    2. Hot spinning
    3. Hot extruding
    4. Rolling
    5. Forging

    - In hot working process, impurities are segregated and pours get closed. This results in metal becoming tougher.

    - Handling of metal in hot metal working process in difficult due to high temperature.
