IAS officer Alkesh Sharma has been appointed as CMD of Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development on 12th October 2015. He will be holding the post for 3 years. He is a 1990 batch IAS officer of Kerala cadre. 1483 km long DMICDC is a state sponsored industrial development project aimed at developing industrial zones and spread across 6 states to develop industries namely Uttar Pradesh, NCR of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
