a. Only 1
b. Only 2
c. Both
d. None

ANSWER: Both

Kongsfjorden is a natural laboratory for studying the Arctic climate variability, as it receives climatic signals from the Arctic and Atlantic in the course of an annual seasonal cycle. Data collected by IndARC would be used for climate modelling studies to understand the influence of the Arctic processes on the Indian monsoon system.
