Union cabinet chaired by PM Narendra Modi has given its ex-post facto approval for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and South Africa for cooperation in the field of Tourism. The MoU was signed on 08.07.2016.
  • The main objectives of the MoU are expanding bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector and promoting information exchange
  • Apart from this cooperation between tourism stakeholders including hotels and tour operators and exchange program for HRD cooperation and investments in the sector were also promoted
