The rail line is already proving to be the lifeline for the Tamil people of North Sri Lanka by providing them cheap and fast connectivity to the capital. The last station to be connected on the route will be Thalaimannar, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Sri Lanka visit that starts from 13th Mar’15.
