Jean-Pierre Lacroix is new UN peacekeeping operations headFrance’s Jean-Pierre Lacroix (56) was appointed as Under-Secretary-General for the United Nations peacekeeping operations.

He will succeed Herve Ladsous, who will step down in March 2017 after six years of service.

Mr. Lacroix will have tenure of one year. Currently, he is director for the UN at the French foreign Ministry.
