The ministry of minority affairs launched the “Jiyo Parasi” scheme in September 2013.The scheme was introduced to spread awareness among people in the Parasi community about medical processes like IVF. The objectives of the scheme are has the objective of reversing the declining trend of Parasi population by adopting scientific protocol and structured interventions, stabilize the Parasi population and increase the population of Parsis in India.
