Ferromagnetic materials consists of permanent magnetic dipoles and hence they have long and permanent magnetization even if magnetic field is removed. They have relative permeability more than unity and are dependent on field strength. Iron and cobalts are ferromagnetic materials. Ferromagnetic materials strongly attract line of forces.
