    - Laser interferometers and laser telemetric systems are used for measuring dimensions.

    - Laser Doppler effect is used to measure velocity of the an object. It is also known as laser Doppler anemometry.

    - It is a technique which uses Doppler shift in a laser beam to measure velocity. Velocity is measured in transparent or semi-transparent fluids or vibratory motion of opaque.
