    Circularity reference circles used to indicate circularity error are:

    1) Maximum inscribed circle

    2) Minimum inscribed circle

    3) Minimum zone circle

    4) Least square circle

    Minimum zone circle: It consists of two concentric circles which enclose the profile. They have minimum separation between them. Out of roundness is the radial distance between these two circles and this centre of circles is called as minimum zone centre.
