MoU inked between ISRO and USGS approvedCabinet approval was given on 14th Dec 2016 for the MoU between ISRO and United States Geological Survey for cooperation in the use of US Land remote sensing satellite data.

MoU is aimed to enable USGS landsat 7 and 8 in India.

USGS will also receive Resourcesat-2 data of the US region.

ISRO has been pushing peace cooperation with many US organisations including NASA, NOAA and USGS.
