India’s National Smart Grid Mission/NSGM with the assistance of USAID launched the series of training programmes aimed at capacity building of utility personnel in development of India’s smart grid infrastructure.
  • Programme is aimed to ensure at least 10 percent of personnel from 14 of India’s state utility companies are trained in smart grid functions.
  • The three day training programme will use the Basic Smart Grid course under USAID’s partnership to advance clean energy programme to built utility capacity on smart grid components and apps.
