Q.  The insulation resistance of a cable of length 10 km is 1M Ω . For a length of 100 km of the same cable, what will be the insulation resistance?

    Since, insulation resistance(R) is inversly proportional to length of conductor(L)
    So, R1/R2=L2/L1
    10^6/R2=100/10

    R2=0.1M ohm
