    Given: Number of balls = 10, diameter of balls = 15 mm, K = 62 N/mm2

Stribeck's equation to calculate basic static capacity of ball bearings is Co = (KZd2) / 5 & basic static capacity of straight roller bearings is Co = (KZdL) / 5

Formula: Basic static capacity of ball bearings (Co) = (KZd2) / 5

Substituting the given values we get,

    (Co) = (KZd2) / 5
    = (62 x 15 x 102) / 5
    = 27900 N

Basic static capacity of ball bearings = 27900 N

    = 27.900 kN
