    Given: Velocity of car X = 80 km/hr, velocity of car Y = 60 km/hr

    Solution:

The relative velocity of car X w.r.t. Y can be calculated by determining the difference between the velocities of car X and Y

    Therefore,

    velocity of car X w.r.t. Y = V(X/Y) = V(X)V(Y)

    = 80 - (-60) ------ (Two cars travel in opposite direction)

    = 140 km/hr
