President extends greeting to Guinea Bissau on Independence Day

Independence Day was celebrated on 24th September 2015 and Indian President extended warm greetings and felicitations on this occasion. The government of this republic is supportive of India. Guinea Bissau is a founder member of the Team-9 Initiative.  Under this framework, GOI has extended LOC of US$ 25 million to Guinea Bissau. India is the sole importer of almost the entire crop (98%) of cashew nuts from Guinea Bissau every year.
