a. 30, 19
b. 21, 37
c. 15, 34
d. 15, 27

ANSWER: 15, 27

Let the two numbers be 5x and 9x.

(5x-5)/(9x-5) = 5:11
(5x-5)*11 = (9x-5)*5
55x – 55 = 45x – 25
10x = 30
x = 3
Therefore, the numbers are 15 and 27.
