    n+R>2j-it means truss contains more number of members than needed to be ridid it mean it is over rigid and statically indeterminate n+r<2j -it means trusscontains less number of members than needed to be rigid it means it is under rigid ,collapsible

    - Trusses are of two different types: Perfect and imperfect truss.

    - Imperfect truss is further classified as redundant truss and deficient truss.

    - The condition for redundant truss is n > 2j – R
