    - Progressive Errors are a sub-type of Pitch errors.

    - Progressive errors are caused if tool work velocity ratio is incorrect, even if it is constant.

    - These errors are caused if incorrect gears are used.

    - Progressive errors show linear relation between cumulative pitch error and length of thread. As length of thread increases cumulative pitch error also increases.
