    - Software testing helps in finalizing the software application or product against business and user requirements.

    - It makes sure that the testing is being done properly and hence the system is ready for use.

    - Software testing has different goals and objectives are as follows:

      - To prevent defects.
      - To determine whether the software products satisfy specified requirements.
      - To gain the confidence of the customers by providing them a quality product.
      - To demonstrate that software products are fit for use.
      - To find the defects which may occur by programmer while developing the software.

    - Software testing design test cases provide higher probability of finding errors.

    - It ensures that user accepts the final software released for him to operate with no complaints.
