    - To adopt any quality improvement strategy, Deming suggested following fourteen points.

    - These points are grouped into categories as shown below:

    1) Management commitment
    2) Better interrelations
    3) Use of statistical methods

    Management commitment: The different points included in management commitment are: Creating constancy of purpose, adopting new philosophies and top management commitment.

    Better interrelations: Points included in better interrelations are: End low order contracts, institute leadership, driving out fear, breaking down barriers, eliminating exhortations, eliminating arbitrary numerical targets and permitting pride of workmanship.

    Use of statistical methods: Ceasing dependence on inspection, improving every process, training on job and to encouraging education are points included in statistical methods.
