The UN Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20) held in June 2012 at Rio came out with SDGs in July 2014. The SDGs cover a broad range of sustainable development issues and also focus on means of implementation as one of the overarching goals to achieve the SDGs. These are expected to be integrated into the UN’s post-2015 Development Agenda.
