Q.  In the question given below has a set of three or four statements. Each set of statements is further divided into three segments. Choose the alternative where the third segment in the statement can be logically deduced using both the preceding two, but not just from one of them.

Statement - A. All cats are mad. All sick persons are mad. So, all sick persons are cats.
B. All oranges are white. All figs are oranges. So, all figs are white.
C. No man can crawl. No kite can crawl. So, all men are kites.

    Try to solve using Income- Expense Method:
    All Orange (100) are White(50)
    All Figs (100) are Orange (50)
    Then all Figs (100) are white (50)
    As Orange is common in first & second statement & also one value is 100 then we can say that a=b=c.
    Using I>=Expense condition We can say that Figs having Expense 100 which is equal to Income & same as 50 for white.
    So this statement is true. We should use IE method when terms like possibility, Can be, will be not given. This is very easy method. Please see video made by careerride.com on this topic. They have explained this method on that.
