Jean Amault was on 9th March 2016 appointed as head of the UN Political Mission in Columbia. Amulet who is a French national will also serve as the Special Rep of the Secretary General in Colombia. He also worked in senior positions with the UN in Afghanistan, Burundi, Georgia, and was the UN Special Adviser to the Group of Friends of Democratic Pakistan.
