Non-destructive test do not damage the metallic component under test and the component can be reused. This test determines location of defects, chemical composition and corrosion of metals.

Non-destructive test determines internal and external defects. It is used for sorting mixed materials, measuring thickness, determining corrosion severity.

The test results recorded in this method can be stored permanently. These tests don't provide direct measurement of mechanical properties but are used to reveal defects in the components.

Non-destructive test is highly reliable, fast and accurate. They can be easily mechanized for high production and low cost. They are used for NDT testing in every stage of production to remove defective parts in early stages of manufacturing.
