    - V-blocks or Vee locators are one of the types of locating device.

    - When a component having circular or semicircular profile is to be located, then V-blocks or Vee locators are used.

    - They are also used for clamping as well as locating if the faces are inclined upto 3º

    - Usually V-blacks have an angle of 90º

    - There are three types of V-Blocks

    1. Fixed type V-Block

    2. Sliding type V-Block

    3. Cam operated sliding type V-Block
