    - Non-ferrous metals cannot be joined by A.C. arc welding due to change in polarity.

    - Therefore, only D.C. arc welding is suitable for joining non-ferrous metals.

    - But the D.C. Arc welding has a phenomenon called arc blow in which wandering of arc occurs.
