  • He is currently serving as professor and chairperson at the Centre for International Politics, Organisation and Disarmament in JNU.
  • Current GU VC is Dr. Satish Shetye.
  • Committee headed by Dr. Mashelkar had recommended the names of the GU VC to the chancellor.
