            - If the transport layer is removed from TCP/IP stack byte stream will not be transferred from one machine to another.

            - Flow controlled will not be handled.

            - Error checking and correction : to put the information in the right order and to make certain the whole message will not be received.

            - Data transfer will not be reliable through the use of connections and acknowledgments.
