Monte Carlo method is a technique for analyzing the uncertainty in propagation. It helps to determine the effects of random variation, lack of knowledge or error over the sensitivity, performance or reliability of the modeled system.

Monte Carlo analysis uses the random number generator to generate the functions such as Gaussian parameter distribution, uniform parameter distribution and random limit parameter distribution.

Gaussian parameter distribution mainly comprises relative variation, absolute variation and bimodal distributions. Relative variation represents the ratio of average while absolute variation is added to average. In bimodal distribution, normal parameters get statistically minimized by performing multiplication of distribution.
