    - The process of lowering temperature of any liquid or gas below its freezing point is called as supercooling.

    - In this process, the liquid or gas is prevented from becoming a solid.

    - Supercooling is also called as undercooling. This process is used in refrigeration in which cool drinks are supercooled, due to this process when the bottles are opened they form slush.
