    RSVP :

          - RSVP is resource ReSerVation Protocol.

          - This is a signaling protocol which allows application running in hosts to reserve resources in the internet.

          - The resources in the internet are : link bandwidth and router buffers.

          - RSVP is mainly used for resource (bandwidth) reservation.

          - It is a receiver oriented means the data receiver initiates and maintains the resource reservation used for that flow.

          - It allows application to reserve bandwidth for their data flows.
