    - Shear connectors: Two parts are connected by bolts, screws, etc. to prevent relative motion between them.

    - They are used to resist longitudinal shear along shearing surface.

    - Different types of shear connectors are: angle shear connector, channel shear connector, stand shear connector, spiral shear connector, etc.
