Alpha Testing
- Alpha testing is performed by end users at development site whereas;
- It takes place at the developers side.
- It takes place when the development of the application is about to complete.
- It is a final testing before the software is released for general public.

Beta Testing
- Beta testing is when developers and end users test the application on the customer’s site.
- It is known as field testing and takes place at the customers site.
- A small sample is tested by the audience.
- The goal of this testing is to place the product outside the developing team so as to know the flaws of the product.
