Consider 1 female as ''x'' and 1 male as ''y''.

So we get Equation 1 as: 3x + 2y = 1/10 as the 1 day work rate of 3 females and 2 males.

and Equation 2 as: 2x + 3y =1/8

After solving these both linear equation we get value of x = 1/100 and y = 7/200.

So for 2 females and 4 males by putting the values of x and y we get: 2x + 4y = 2*(1/100) + 4*(7/200) = 4/25 as their work rate, so the number of days will be 25/4.
